Private event
La Cense d’Abaumont offers two complementary options: hire of our function spaces — the Orangerie, the Fenil and the Garden — and hire of our holiday cottages, which can accommodate up to 26 people. For certain private events involving an evening function, these two hire options are combined to ensure that everyone – whether staying in the function room or the self-catering cottages – enjoys peace and exclusivity. The table below shows you at a glance which category your event falls into.

A festive evening at the Orangerie may cause some noise disturbance as the night draws to a close. To ensure that everyone can enjoy their stay or reception to the full, we always combine the hire of the Orangerie with that of the three gîtes when this sort of event takes place at the weekend.
Apart from these cases, the function room and holiday cottages remain two completely independent offers.
Venue Rates — L'Orangerie, Le Fenil, Le Jardin
Whether your event takes place during the day or continues into the evening, our spaces adapt to your needs. Hire includes private access to the reception area: entrance hall, fitted kitchen, toilets, landscaped car park with over 150 spaces, utilities and cleaning.

Optional extra – Equipment and decoration can be set up the day before from 17:00.

Weddings & Private Parties Package: Function room + Cottages
For your wedding or private party requiring the combined hire of the Orangerie and the 3 holiday cottages, each service will be invoiced separately, with a preferential rate on accommodation.
If you book the Orangerie and the 3 holiday cottages together for your wedding, you’ll benefit from a preferential rate on accommodation.

FAQ
Why should I rent the cottages for my wedding?
For the comfort of all our guests: holding a dance evening at Orangerie whilst the holiday cottages are occupied by other guests would cause mutual inconvenience. By booking the whole venue, you will have exclusive use of the site for your event.
Can I hire the room on its own for a winter wedding?
Yes, if your party is not on a Friday or a Saturday. Contact us to check your case.
Are the gîtes accessible independently from the function room?
Yes, outside of the periods and events requiring the Wedding Package (see the «How it works» table).
